Easy hair style for extensions...

I have always wanted long hair. Even when I was little my mom would always keep it short. I don't know if that was the style, or if it just made it easier that my parents didn't have to style my sisters and my hair everyday!? Either way, when I got a little older I started to grow out my hair! I definitely remember it being long for a little while at one point in time! I feel like that was long ago though now, because I have been wearing extensions for a few years now! Not only does my hair only grow to a certain length(I swear it just never gets long enough for me) but it is also super fine.

Since I have started to wear extensions, I feel like I can't really live without them now, and I am totally okay with that! It is just a part of my routine. Like putting on makeup. I enjoy doing it, not because I feel like I have to, but because it makes me happy!

I wear the clip in extensions. I have tried both. And I can definitely say I prefer the clip in extensions, because I like to brush out my natural hair, and not have them actually attached to my own hair strands. It is nice to not have them in at night as well, or when I throw my hair in a bun!

Sometimes extensions can be tricky to wear. It definitely takes time, not only getting used to the feeling of wearing them, but how to wear them!

I wanted to share one of my favourite ways to wear them. It is so easy and literally since it's not technically your hair, you can style them the night before and boom, clip them in, in the morning and go!

▪️All you need is 3-4 medium sized Velcro rollers. ▪️A spray bottle with water in it. ▪️A brush. ▪️A drawer you can hang your extensions from. Particularly one that closes so it can hold the extensions tightly.

Here are some pictures of how I style mine.

Brush them out with the drawer closed.  Then spray them with water.

I start on the left and seperate sections. If you don't have a little handle underneath like I have to lean them on, then you can add a bobby pin on the top of each one to hold it up.

I usually do them before I go to bed. In the morning before you unravel them, you can give them a quick blowdry if you have time. Once you take them out, give them a light brush.

You can clip some pieces back, or leave it all down and blend a few of your front pieces in with a quick straighten, or curl.

This is a great style for extensions, but If you have long enough hair you can do this too of course. Sleeping in them might not be the most comfortable, but add them in right when you wake up, eat breakfast, do your makeup and they should turn out just the same!

Let me know how it goes for you- with your own hair or if you wear extensions! Thanks for stopping by!
