Dressing your growing baby bump.

Being pregnant can be frustrating for some women, and then there are those women who love being pregnant! We are all different, so when it comes to dressing our new growing body we can either really love certain styles and face a few challenges as well!

With this being my second pregnancy, I have learned a few things about what works and and what doesn't. With carrots being my main food group this pregnancy, and staying active now that I have an almost 2 and a half year old, I have been having more fun when it comes to how to dress my growing body. My first pregnancy I worked a lot which kept me on my feet, but I ate a lot too! Everybody's bodies are different, even from one pregnancy to another! But even then, my number one tip with dressing a pregnant belly is to stay away from overly baggy dresses and sweaters!(After 24 weeks) These really do nothing for our baby bump. They can fall from our shoulders and hang in a frumpy way. And sometimes people aren't sure whether or not your pregnant, which is sometimes nice, but when you are actually pregnant, why not show it off!? What we really need to be reaching for is a more fitted style of shirt. My favourite things to wear this time around are fitted dresses!! Let it hug your beautiful shape. When it is tighter on your body, it can hug your body and show the exact shape of your bump.

If you are self conscious about a certain part of your body, I find that dresses are the way to go!  But you can also look for clothes that are only fitted around your belly. Wear a tank top with a looser cardigan, or button up. Or a pair of boyfriend jeans with a tight long sleeve. There are many different options, but my number one tip is to show off that belly! Let's not be too hard on ourselves either, because our baby is continuing to grow every day! The innocence and beauty that come from our little humans are an indescribable feeling that is worth every minute of the discomfort and frusteration we soon forget all about!

Happy pregnancy ladies! Thanks for stopping by!
